An experiment in oak: standard Absolut rested in a blend of Swedish, American and bourbon casks, then blended with an oak-macerated spirit. The result is deeper in colour than anything else in the range, with caramel, vanilla and roasted oak on a vodka base — 50,000 bottles, sold in the United States and Panama in 2013.
