No Label
The bottle with nothing on it. Absolut stripped the 1979 Gunnar Broman and Hans Brindfors design of logo and label entirely, as the object of a campaign against labelling people — a brand that had been advertising in gay media since 1981 making the argument in glass. A removable sticker carried the manifesto and pointed to a blog on prejudice and identity. Launched in travel retail in June 2009 and globally that September; the French version has a grey corner, the Australian one blue and grey, and South Africa's is bottled at 43%.
