London Tin
Released in 2012, this metal case was designed by English artist Jamie Hewlett, co-creator of the virtual band Gorillaz, for whom he has drawn the characters, music videos and album covers.
The case features a portrait of Lars Olsson Smith, the 19th-century Swedish distiller whose legacy inspired Absolut vodka, reimagined in Hewlett's distinctive graphic style.
It was produced as part of the Absolut London launch, the seventh edition of Absolut's limited-edition "Cities" series and the first to celebrate a European city. The bottle itself depicts seven iconic London characters from different eras, ranging from a Dickensian gentleman and an 18th-century dandy to a 60s chick, a punk and an 80s casual.
Only 50 collector's gift packs were made, sold exclusively online through Absolut UK's Facebook page and reserved for UK buyers, making this case one of the rarest pieces of the Absolut London release.
