Botanik
Absolut Botanik was a ready-to-drink range launched in Australia in 2015, mixing Swedish vodka with Swedish botanicals and sparkling water. Made with single-source vodka, it was pitched against pre-mixed drinks it found too artificial: lightly carbonated, not too sweet, nothing added beyond fruit and herbs. Each flavour paired berries with a Nordic or garden note such as lingonberry, rhubarb, cucumber or coriander, and the range came in bottles and cans of several sizes, with limited designs along the way. The launch was backed by Botanik House, a three-week music venue in Centennial Park, Sydney.
