Britto
This collection gathers the Absolut bottles connected with Romero Britto, the Brazilian-born pop artist who first worked from the bottle in 1989. Britto joined the artist campaign that had already featured Warhol and Haring, and in 2003 Absolut came back to him for a bottle marking twenty-five years in America, the first time it let its own design be reworked in this way. Around that edition sit bottles he painted by hand in his bright, outlined pop style, in various sizes and colourways, and a customised version by another hand, covered in thousands of crystals set one by one.
