End of the Year Edition
The Absolut End of the Year Edition is the limited edition Absolut releases worldwide each autumn for the holiday season, a new design every year. It began in 2006 with packs worn over the plain bottle, from a gold sleeve to a mirror ball and studded leather, before the ideas moved into the glass. Made in the millions, these editions are where Absolut tries out its boldest packaging: glass cut like crystal, bottles each given their own colours and number, a drop of cobalt falling into the molten glass, a Warhol painting carried onto the bottle. Recent years have brought artists in, such as Olly Alexander for Mosaik in 2023.

Kaws
2026 · 3 variants
A collector's bottle designed in collaboration with American artist and designer KAWS (Brian Donnelly). It continues Absolut Vodka's long tradition of partnering with leading figures in contemporary art and pop culture. The bottle features bright blue graphic designs as well as the famous “XX” eyes, an unmistakable signature of the KAWS universe.
This bottle is the worlwide end of the year edition for 2026.
Glimmer Blue
2025 · 1 variant
Released in France for the 2025 holiday season, this limited edition brings back the faceted, crystal-cut glass treatment that first appeared on Absolut Glimmer in 2010, this time in a blue finish.
The design is meant to evoke the reflections of the water used in production — a nod to the spring water from Åhus, Sweden, that Absolut has drawn on since 1879. Depending on the light, the cut glass shifts between sharp highlights and deeper blue tones, which makes it one of the more photogenic recent bottles. Sold through French supermarkets while stocks lasted, and not distributed as a worldwide release, which makes it a specifically French entry in the yearly end-of-year series.
Haring
2025 · 3 variants
The Absolut Haring Artist-Edition is a limited-edition bottle launched in 2025 that celebrates the legacy of the legendary American pop artist Keith Haring. It pays tribute to the historic 1986 collaboration originally initiated by Andy Warhol.
The bottle is designed as a piece of 3D art, turning Haring’s famous 1986 poster into a tangible, collectible item. Its aesthetic is deeply rooted in Haring's core philosophy that "art is for everybody."
- Debossed Glass Artwork: The bottle features a unique embossed relief showcasing Haring's iconic dancing figures with dynamic red and yellow linework set against a sunlit yellow background.
- Authentic Details: It incorporates Haring's own handwriting and signature directly on the sleeve.
- Reimagined Medallion: The classic Absolut medallion around the neck—depicting founder L.O. Smith—is replaced with a hand-drawn rendition by Haring himself.
Warhol #2
2024 · 4 variants
The 2024 limited edition returns to Warhol thirty-nine years after the original painting, setting the historic collaboration against the present.
Mosaik
2023 · 5 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2023, made with Olly Alexander, whose signature appears on the medallion.
Spirit of togetherness
2022 · 3 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2022, built around the idea of things woven together — craft, quality and company in one package.
Voices
2021 · 24 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2021, made after two years of distance: two sound waves spread outwards across the glass, meeting. It exists in four colourways — pink, purple, green and light blue — each with a dark market variant of the medallion.
Movement
2020 · 9 variants
The end-of-year edition for 2020, released at scale — 1.9 million bottles — with a set of neck stickers that changed the message from bottle to bottle: March Forward, Shift Views, Stand Out, Unite as One, Together We Celebrate.
Comeback
2019 · 3 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2019, and an argument rather than a decoration: the glass appears shattered, because it has been. Every Absolut bottle is made from at least 41% recycled glass, and Comeback puts that on the outside — a statement about resources coming back round rather than running out.
This edition is also called "Recycled" in France and "Reborn" in Mexico.
Drop of Love – Mint
2018 · 6 variants
The end-of-year edition for 2018, sold as a pair. The word Love runs across the glass in sixteen languages around a pink silhouette of the bottle at the centre; the medallion carries a white bleeding heart, and a Pride variant replaces it with a rainbow one. This is the mint half — the pink one completes the set.
Drop of Love – Pink
2018 · 6 variants
The pink half of the 2018 end-of-year pair. Love appears in sixteen languages around a pink bottle silhouette, with a white bleeding heart on the medallion — or a rainbow heart on the Pride version. Its mint twin completes the set.
Sequin
2017 · 4 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2017, and the only one you can redraw with your fingers: the coating is made of flip sequins, so a hand run across the glass turns them over and leaves a message or a mark that the next hand can change again. The design takes its cue from a night sky, and was released in two executions for different markets.
Uncover
2017 · 4 variants
The end-of-year edition for 2017 in its sleeved form: the bottle arrives wrapped, and unwrapping it is the point — the coat comes off like paper off a gift to reveal the printed bottle underneath. The design of both takes its cue from a night sky. It was released alongside a second execution in flip sequins.
Facet
2016 · 6 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2016: blue, and cut asymmetrically. The rounded edges are faceted like a gem so the glass takes light differently from every angle — the visual argument for a campaign about nights that go somewhere unplanned. Around 2.5 million were distributed from October 2016.
Electrik Blue
2015 · 4 variants
The end-of-year edition for 2015, released as a pair. A semi-transparent coating turns the glass into a see-through reflector; blue stands for Absolut's own cobalt, silver for the conductivity of the metal. Together they were meant to read as flashing lights and a heavy beat.
Electrik Silver
2015 · 4 variants
The silver half of the 2015 end-of-year pair, coated semi-transparently so the glass reflects without going opaque. Silver for conductivity, against the cobalt blue of its twin.
Warhol
2014 · 9 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2014, and a return to the beginning: Warhol's 1985 painting of the bottle was the first of what became thousands of collaborations between Absolut and artists. The original hangs in a museum; this puts it on the object it depicts. A share of the proceeds went to the Andy Warhol Foundation, whose endowment has given out close to $250 million in grants to contemporary visual art. Four million copies, with several text variations on the back.
Originality
2013 · 7 variants
Four million bottles, no two the same. A drop of cobalt blue is dropped into the molten glass as it enters the mould at 1,100°C — a technique Swedish glassmakers have used by hand for centuries, never before at this scale. At that heat the cobalt is invisible; it appears only as the glass cools, as a streak running down the inside of each bottle. The end-of-year edition for 2013.
Unique
2012 · 7 variants
Nearly four million bottles, each one different and each individually numbered. Absolut had to rebuild its production line to do it: splash guns and colour machines running coating, pattern and placement algorithms — what the company called carefully orchestrated randomness — across 38 bright colours and 51 abstract patterns, with no two results alike. As its global marketing head put it at the time, anyone could make one or two unique products; the point was making four million.
Mode
2011 · 11 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2011, and Absolut's most direct approach to fashion: the glass is redrawn in twelve facets and wrapped in a band of midnight blue silk with embroidered text. The campaign, shot by Sharif Hamza with the model Shannan Click, ran alongside it. Several banderoles exist — one reading CONT.NET, and a French one reading Limited Edition.
Glimmer
2010 · 7 variants
The end-of-year bottle for 2010, cut like crystal. Absolut's argument is purity and transparency, and Glimmer makes it literally: the faceting reads as a rough-cut diamond, and stands in for the distilling know-how behind 130 years of the product.
Rock
2009 · 4 variants
The end-of-year skin for 2009: black leather over a standard blue label bottle, studded with metal spikes.
Masquerade
2008 · 3 variants
The end-of-year skin for 2008, and the most tactile Absolut ever made: 3,238 soft red spangles sewn into the shape of the bottle, with a zip up the back that slides apart to release it. Three versions circulate, distinguished by their banderole — sticker, card, or plain Absolut Vodka.
Disco
2007 · 5 variants
The end-of-year pack for 2007, and a mirror ball rather than a bottle: exactly 1,000 reflecting prisms assembled in the Absolut silhouette, opened by sliding the two halves apart. Empty, it hangs from its own integrated loop and does the job it was always shaped for. 2,900,000 were made.
Bling Bling
2006 · 3 variants
The end-of-year skin for 2006: a gold hard-plastic sleeve over a standard blue label bottle, and a straight-faced joke at the expense of the hip-hop era's appetite for shine — the bling that gave the bottle its name.
