Hammar

This collection gathers the special bottles of the Hammar glassworks, the Swedish works that blew Absolut's glass until it closed in 1992. Founded in 1854, Hammar belonged to PLM, the glass group behind Absolut's bottles, and made small runs for its own people outside the commercial range: personal bottles carrying a first name, bottles for Christmas and Easter, even one printed with the glassblowers' drinking song. The closure produced the best known, Den Sista I Hammar, given to the workers in 1992. Most are empty and unsealed, as they never went near the filling line: they are souvenirs of a factory more than of a vodka.

    Hammar Rainbow

    1992 · 1 variant

A 1992 bottle handed to the staff of the Hammar glassworks, its label set in six colours: green, blue, red, yellow, black and white. It has nothing to do with Absolut's later Pride bottles — 1992 is simply the year the works stopped producing.
