Mix Stonewall Charity

Absolut Mix Stonewall Charity gathers the one-off Absolut Mix bottles customised by London designers and auctioned for London Pride 2016. Made with Stonewall, Britain's leading LGBT equality charity, each started from Absolut Mix, the Pride bottle of that year, and was sold through an online auction that closed on Pride weekend, with all proceeds going to the charity. The names came from London fashion and nightlife, from Gareth Pugh to Sink the Pink, and the bottles show it: hand painting, fishnet, crowns and rainbow pom-poms turned a shared design into personal statements. The sale raised more than six thousand pounds.

    James Davison

    2016 · 1 variant

One of twelve one-off bottles auctioned for London Pride 2016 in aid of Stonewall. The London illustrator James Davison went bright and deliberately tongue-in-cheek, working Polari — the coded slang of British queer life — into the design.
