Chrome
Absolut Chrome is a series of bottles wrapped in a mirror-finish plastic foil over the standard blue label bottle. The idea is simple: a reflective sleeve turns the familiar silhouette into a mirror, so the bottle picks up whatever surrounds it. Each design plays a variation on that sleeve, and the bottles were made for European markets, chiefly France and Germany, where versions differ in small details such as the presence of the medallion. For a collector, Chrome shows how far a single material can carry a bottle without touching the glass itself.
